On Oct. 28, the strongest storm of 2025, Melissa, struck Jamaica as a Category Five Hurricane.

Winds in excess of 175mph ripped roofs off houses and hospitals. Storm surges erased coastlines and flooded neighborhoods. Rivers overflowed their banks, pouring into nearby homes and sweeping away farms and vehicles.

As Jamaica's Prime Minister Andrew Holness told reporters "There is no infrastructure in the region that can withstand a Category 5."

But Jamaicans are resilient and ready to rebuild with your help. Private donations are needed more than ever before to enable people to restore their homes and livelihoods.
