My name is Ellie Honneus. I'm an American high schooler living in Tenafly, New Jersey, and I'm Jamaican by descent. My grandma was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, my mom is a citizen, and we have family still in the country. Ever since I was little, my family has traveled to Jamaica to relax and reconnect with our heritage. I love the island and want it to rebuild stronger than ever.
